New York, the best city

Go to New York is one of my dreams. I would like to travel to New York because for me this city is another world very different that I never seen. New York is so big and so varied that it is impossible to get bored. On the streets there are always people walking, there are shops everywhere and the buildings are very high and luxurious.

In New York live celebrities like Sarah Jessica Parker, Woody Allen, Natalie Portman and Tom Cruise. I haven't seen a famous people yet but one day I will travel to New York and I will see them.

One Day

One Day is a film about a boy and girl, Emma and Dexter, who graduate from the University of Edinburgh on July 15, 1988, and spend the night together. They are in love but they don't say what they feel. During twenty years they are only friends. Until July 15, 2008, that they say what they feel. Everything is going well, but on July 15, Emma has an accident and she dies.

One Day is a film directed by Lone Scherfig. It stars Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess.

A day in my life

One day in my life when I go to school, like all teenagers, nothing unusual. On Mondays, for example, I get up at seven o’clock and just with only twenty minutes I get dress, I have breakfast, I brush my teeth and I prepare the bag. Then my father takes me to the bus at half past seven.

 At eight o’clock I start the classes until four and twenty-five because I have lunch at school. When I get home, I do my homework and if I have time I watch the TV or I connect to the computer. At nine o’clock I have lunch with my parents and then we watch the TV together. At ten-thirty to eleven I read or I connect to facebook. Finally, at eleven I go to sleep.

This is a normal Monday in my life!

ONE DIRECTION

One direction is a boy band, it members are: Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson. They became famous because they finished third on the seventh series of The X Factor.

The members of the group are between seventeen and twenty years old. Zayn, Liam, harry and Louis are from England and Nail is from Ireland.

All members are different, they all have one quality that differentiates them: Nail is the most funny, always makes jokes; Liam is the intelligent of the group; Harry is the most flirtatious; Zayn is the most shy, and Louis is the most responsible. 

One Direction's debut single "What makes you beautiful" was released on 11 September 2011. Their second single, "Gotta be you", was released on 13 November 2011.

I like this song because the lyrics of this are tender and loving and the sound is relaxing. For me this song is very important because it reminds me when my cousin come to Catalonia two years ago. She showed me this song and when I listening to it I think with her. This song isn’t famous in Spain, not many people know about it, but in the United States is very popular.

This song tells us a lovely history of two people who are in love. When they are together everything is perfect and this makes them feel good. “Wherever it goes I always know that you make me smile” this is the most beautiful phrase of all the song for me.

The singer is Colbie Caillat, an American pop singer-songwriter and guitarist.

Horror History

THE TRUTH

This story is based on real events. It happened in Pescara, a small town in Italy, about 12 years. This story was told by Giovanna Cecarelli, who was one of the few girls who survived this torture. She was the testimony of all the events that happened.
This whole story happened in a religious orphanage, where there were only girls and the nuns who watched the girls that in theory cared for their sake. The first time I asked her about what happened, she refused to answer all the questions that were asked. After two years, she confessed everything:
“All started because of drugs: my father often used this. One day he had a little discussion with my mother, and he left my family. A few days later, someone knocked the door at midnight, I opened the door and it was him, my father. He came in with a dagger in his hand and suddenly he was nailed to the back of my mother. So I took my little sister who was only two years and went to the closest church that we had. Once there, one of the nuns took us both and took us to an orphanage. At the orphanage the girls were all very restrained when there was the presence of the nun Margherita, had a different behavior: the one looked in his eyes, there was always a certain distance and spoke to him with respect.
But, I saw that the girls had a normal behavior, but gradually I was watching some of them disappearing, I don’t know, I thought because some family adopted them. I also observed that when some of us had badly lacked respect for the nun Margherita or a derogatory comment about God, they were punished. I can only say that I didn’t return to saw them. And this for years ...
My sister Chiara and me, had always had a correct behavior, but one day the Chiara you dropped a glass of water on the floor and accidentally got wet at nun Margherita. She didn’t dare to apologize because I did not know how to react because, he was only five years old. And the nun, very angry, grabbed by the hair of Chiara and pulled her away to the basement. I heard that my sister crier with a very sharp voice, like torture, and after completing the cries, I went down to see what happened, nobody saw me. Just when I came down I heard a few steps. I was very scared, I put in a closet that was in the hallway, I covered my nose and my mouth to not breathe and I was suffocated. Luckily it was fast and when I didn’t hear anything, I got out of that dark closet claustrophobic.

I went to the room where I heard the screams, that the nuns, in a beginning, forbidden us to enter. The door squeaked. I was really scared, afraid that someone could hear me. As I was opening the door a strange stench came to me. The first thing I saw was blood, a lot of blood, and then some bodies on the floor and some others naked and crucidied, just like Jesus died.
When I saw this I didn’t know what to do, I was very scared of everything. I found my sister’s body with the welfares cut and some stabbing on the stomach. You you could see, these girls were tortured. I went to the exit door, running very fast, and I went to the garden. It was late, so anybody was taking care from the monitoring cameras. There was a piece of the close that I could jump without any problem, so I did this. I fell, I only scratch a bit my arm, it was nothing important. I was looking for a family, I even had to beg to have money for eating. Finally, an old friends from my parents adopted me.This was the history that Giovanna told us, and now, the nun (Margherita) is in the prision for the rest of her live. The orphenage was destroyed  and now is what we know like the place where we are now.

    

INTELLIGENCE TEST

In this picture we can see my graphic of multiple intelligences. There are eight types of intelligences: linguistic, logical, interpersonal, intrapersonal, musical, visual/spatial, naturalistic and kinaesthetic. 

The type of intelligence that predominates in my graphic is the interpersonal. This means that I am a person who likes to mix with other people and likes the team games. Then, the visual, linguistic and intrapersonal are in the second place. And the music smart is the last.

I am surprise that the picture smart has a very high percentage because I didn’t think it would be important to me. And about the others types of intelligences, I agree with them because I know that music smart is not my predominate intelligence: I just like listen to it but I don’t like make it.

IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING

My dream is to become a psychologist because I like helping people in need. I would like to work with children, because I think that it is more interesting and amazing.

It is important to stady a lot to become a psychologist so I need to work hard. Fist, I need to finish the high school with a good mark and then I will start the University to learn a lot.

AN ANIMAL IN ME

THE LEOPARD

The leopards are animals surprising and  very interesting. They have many characteristics and abilities to talk about them.

Leopards are graceful, beautiful, solitary and powerful big cats related to lions, tigers, and jaguars. They live in sub-Saharan Africa, northeast Africa, Central Asia, India, and China. However, many of their populations are endangered, especially outside of Africa.

They are carnivore and are nocturnal predators; they eat pigs, goats, dogs, cats, mouse… Rarely, they eat fish or crabs and occasionally people.

The leopard has short legs and a long body with a large skull. It is similar in appearance to the jaguar, but is smaller and has spots.

I think that the leopards and I have a lot of characteristics in common; we have spots around the body, the nose and the mouth big, long body and the eye’s color very similar. But we have differences too, for example: I hate stay alone and the leopards are solitary animals; I don’t eat only meat and I have long legs.
